Call: 2025 Vernon L. Smith Excellence Award

We want to announce the call for nominations for the annual Vernon L. Smith Excellence Award (VSEA) in Experimental Finance.

The Society for Experimental Finance and Chapman University will award a prize of US$2000 for the best article published in 2024 using the Experimental Finance method. We invite the author or a representative of the authors to present this article at the EF2025 in Maastricht, The Netherlands (link)

We invite you to nominate a peer-reviewed article published in 2024; the publication date must be the in-print date. Please email your nomination to office@expfin.org with the subject “VSEA25”.

A panel will evaluate the papers and decide on the winner.

The deadline for submitting a nomination is May 16, 2025.
