experimental method

Jan Schmitz and I will be organizing an Experimental Methods Course at the Radboud Summer School

Think of it as a crash course with depth: accessible if you are new to experiments, useful if you already know your way around treatments and randomization.

We cover how to design valid and informative experiments, identify causal effects, and study strategic behavior—in the lab, online, and the field. The focus is practical: how to go from a research question to a clean design that actually answers it, without angering the gods of internal validity.

A central part of the course is project work. You develop and refine your own ideas, and we walk through the whole pipeline together. Already have a design? Bring it. We are happy to discuss it, debug it, and politely question your identifying assumptions.

Interested? Check more details here.
