I have recently joined SWUFE in Chengdu, China and have two openings for postdoctoral researchers. Candidates should have the PhD in finance, economics, or related field by August 31, 2026. I am keenly interested in applicants with demonstrated interest and capabilities in conducting laboratory asset market experiments, but I am also willing to consider strong candidates doing experimental work in other areas involving markets, game theory or operations management. A keen interest in engaging topics concerning Chinese markets and business activity is a plus. Below is more information on the iES and SWUFE. About us

Center for Intelligence Economic Science (iES) at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) has a diverse mixture of Chinese and international faculty members specialising in theoretical, experimental and empirical research with a broad focus on making use of intelligence economic science to bring together behavioral economics and finance, neuroscience, psychology, and the social sciences besides research involving AI. We provide a bilingual work environment. The language of instruction can be in English.
